As of 2:45 PM on Friday, September 9, 2016, customers of Comcast and Verizon (FIOS) began experiencing difficulty in connecting to the Rutgers network. This is not the result of a denial of service attack, but rather a network routing issue. OIT is aware of the issue and is working with our service providers on a resolution. At this time, we do not have an estimated time frame for restoration of the service. We will provide an update when we have more information or the situation is resolved.
