The Office of Information Technology (OIT) Help Desk and Computer Labs are holding an annual hiring drive for student workers from now until Wednesday, February 21.
OIT is looking for bright, self-motivated students with a knack for meticulous troubleshooting. Working for the Help Desk or Computer Labs is a great starting point for students looking to work in information technology, regardless of major. If you’ve set up your own network at home, enjoy reading up on the latest gadgets that are coming out, and love to help others, please consider applying to the OIT Help Desk or Computer Labs.
All majors are accepted and no experience is required. Hundreds of positions will be available for the Fall 2018 semester and training will be paid over the summer. Working at OIT makes for a great addition to any resume and it’s a solid opportunity to build technical skills.

As of 10 p.m. on January 15, the Office of Information Technology Help Desk is operating normally after experiencing temporary problems.
The Office of Information Technology Help Desk is currently unable to respond to support calls due to technical issues with the Help Desk phone system.
The issues began on the evening of January 15. OIT will update the Rutgers community when the problems are resolved.
